This is an early to mid 20th century Navajo silver box with turquoise. The box is rectangular in shape with a curved silver plaque lid, similar to those used as the face of a ketoh or bow-guard bracelet. The lid is decorated by a single oval cabochon of turquoise set in a flat silver bezel at center with teardrop and swooping lozenge shaped repoussé surrounding and a border of repeating chiseled lines.
