A mid to late 19th century Navajo child's blanket woven in hand spun natural white, natural dark brown and indigo dyed blue, raveled flannel red and 90% lac and 10% cochineal dyed magenta. The design features thin horizontal bands of white and red in alternating widths with fine lines of indigo between and a broad band of repeating stepped diamond motifs across center and across the top and bottom edges.
