This is an early 20th century Navajo textile woven entirely in native hand spun wool in natural ivory, dark brown and hand dyed aniline red. The field features two vertically stacked stepped diamonds in ivory with a dark brown wide outline. The wide border is composed of repeating serrated diamonds in white and red on a dark brown field.
