This is a Navajo pictorial rug woven entirely in handspun wool in natural white, hand carded gray, and a variety of hand dyed aniline colors by Dorothy Johnson. The rug design features a Santa Clause figure putting present beneath a decorated tree surrounded by a variety of items symbolic of the Christmas holiday, all on a gray field.
