This is an early 20th century Navajo textile from the Ganado region woven entirely in hand spun native natural wool in natural ivory, dark brown, hand carded grey and hand dyed aniline red. The design is typical of the region with two large directional crosses inside larger stepped diamonds on a grey field. A simple border of outlined running triangles surrounds the field.
