This is a mid 20th century Navajo textile from the Ganado region woven entirely in hand spun native wool in natural ivory, dark brown, hand carded grey, and hand dyed aniline red. The design is a repeating pattern of connected stepped diamonds in vertical rows. The three central rows of diamonds have white backgrounds while the rest are grey on a grey field. Red accents in the center of the diamonds further ornament the design.
