This is a late 20th century Hopi hand carved cottonwood root kachina doll depicting a Koshare or Clown. The doll has a animated pose and is mounted on a black base. The doll has a painted body consisting of horizontal stripes of alternating black and white and on his head he wears a two horned cap with the same striped design.
