A late 19th century Navajo silver headstall with stamped, chiseled, and repousse elements. The browband has a heavy leaf-like repousse design with three floral elements along the lower edge. Along the sides are hand punched, repousse medallion style conchos. At the terminals of the cheek pieces are split silver finials, dimensional and lantern-like in appearance. The headstall is fit with a Mexican iron ring bit and jingles.
