This is a late 19th to early 20th century Navajo Transitional blanket hand woven entirely in native hand spun wool in natural ivory, dark brown, hand carded grey, and hand dyed aniline red. The unbordered design features three vertical rows of stacked triangle motifs in red and dark brown on a carded grey field. Three horizontal bands of alternating colors finish the top and bottom of the textile.
