This is an early 20th century Navajo textile woven entirely in native hand spun wool in natural ivory, dark brown, and hand carded grey. The design features two elongated stepped diamonds with shortened diamonds above and below. In the top and bottom diamonds are stylized whirling log motifs. Along the long edges are stepped lines in ivory that are outlined in dark brown. Similar zigzag lines separate the border from the central diamonds.
