This is a contemporary beaded bag titled "Hungry Cat" by Arapaho/Seneca artist Ken Williams Jr. made from new and vintage glass beads, 24k gold electroplated beads, vintage bugle beads, red swarovski crystals, brass thimbles, brass beads, bran tanned hide, wool, commercial fabric. The triangular shaped bag features a beaded design with a brightly colored cat's head, a speech bubble containing the work "YUM", and a piece of pizza, all on a variegated yellow background with a tricolored border. The bag is further decorated with a tassel hanging from the underneath, and a handle at top, both comprised of strands of brass beads, brass thimbles, and serrated strands of hide and fabric in white and gold. This piece was a 3rd place winner in the Virtual Cherokee Art Market, 2020.
