I found growing up around Native American Arts inspiring. Especially silver work done between 1850 to 1940.
I think it is important to bring traditional style and techniques into the future with us. This is why I want to make these one-of-a-kind pieces available to people today; so they can enjoy this classic style as much as I have. Its simple, bold and warm feeling invites you to take a closer look at its detail. When I was selling old Native American jewelry I would often ask people what it was they liked about the piece. Many times I would hear, "It just looks loved to death." So, in my work I try to achieve that same feeling of having been worn and loved and passed down for generations.
