Larry Golsh (b. 1942) was born and grew up in San Diego, California. His father was Pala Mission and his mother Cherokee. It was in California where he began his life as an artist, creating works of jewelry and sculpture. His biggest influence comes from the environment, of which he feels intricately attuned. His second biggest influence came in 1969 when he met famed jeweler Charles Loloma. Golsh has won prizes for his work throughout the Southwest. His work continues to evolve both in aesthetic and medium.
