This is a contemporary Nambe Pueblo micaceous jar traditionally made and fired in natural clay by Lonnie Vigil. The tall vase form jar has a rounded base and tapers toward the rim, with a indented band near its center. The micaceous heavy slip is highly polished and features organic fire clouding typical of an outdoor firing. The jar is clearly signed on the base.
