Provenance: Foutz Collection, Shiprock, NM, Private Colorado Collection, Clay Lockett Collection, Tucson AZ, Sunny Turpen, Gallup, NM, Ben Dodge. Headstall has repousse like feather motif and cornstalk in center of browband. Round side conchas are and punched with repousse, propeller like motif. Tips are ornamented on both ends with tooling and moth designs. Purchased from Sunny Turpen, property belonged to Ben Dodge, son of Chee Dodge. Turpin paid Ben for the bridle with a bottle of whiskey.
