This is a collection of thirty eight miniature Navajo silver seed pots and plates by Norbert Peshlakai. The collection includes various forms and styles of seed pots each individually decorated with hand finished textures, ornate stamping, and overlay designs. Each are hallmarked on the base. The collection was assembled by Keith Kappmeyer and displayed at the Erie Art Museum in 1997. A catalog was produced for this exhibition and this collection is prominently featured in the publication, "In the Spirit of the Ancestors: The Kappmeyer Collection of Native American Art."
