Navajo Sand Cast Silver Bracelet with Three Turquoise Cabochons

This is an early 20th century Navajo sandcast bracelet set with three oval cabochons of natural turquoise. The bracelet has an open work design with criss-crossing carinated wire forms that are chisel stamped . The central plaque features the three oval settings with the center most being perpendicular to the others. A very similar bracelet is published in Plate 8, pg 26 of H. P. Mera's book "Indian Silver of the Southwest."
