This is an early 20th century Navajo tufa cast silver ketoh with a single native natural turquoise setting all on a heavy saddle leather tied with hide thongs. The silver plaque is slightly curved to match the shape of the arm. The open work design with a swooping lines that go from the corners to the center is one of the most iconic of designs. Further ornamenting the central stone setting are stamped motifs, representing feather fans, that flank either side.
