This is a modern folk art bottle cap snake with carved wood head and rattle tail by Leroy Archuleta, son of famous Northern New Mexican artist Felipe Archuleta. The body of the snake is constructed in used metal bottle caps that are hand painted and stung on an interior metal wire. The figure is posable and is clearly signed and dated by artist, 08/09/1994
