This is a late 19th century Navajo Transitional Period blanket hand woven entirely in native hand spun wool in natural ivory, dark brown, and hand dyed aniline orange and red. The design features four bands of vertical zig-zags in alternating colors, all on an ivory field and bordered in red. Two thin bands run horizontally across the top and bottom.
