This is a late 19th century Navajo late classic period Child's blanket hand woven in native hand spun wool in natural ivory, hand dyed vegetal indigo, and hand dyed aniline red and yellow. The textile has a red background with stacked rows of finely serrated red diamonds with yellow centers outlined in ivory, and indigo. The textile shows wear appropriate with age and usage.
