This is a modern Hopi silver cuff style bracelet with height inlay by Charles Loloma. The hollow form silver cuff is undecorated along its edges and features a wide channel of stone to stone height inlay down the center in ironwood, ostrich shell beads, turquoise, and ivory. The bracelet is clearly hallmarked on the interior. Provenance: It was made around 1968-1969, it was in the personal collection of Charles Loloma’s pilot Karen. It shows obvious influence from Charles’ time with Eveli. This piece has been in a prominent Santa Fe collection for the past few years, it was originally acquired from Karen’s descendants.
