This is an early 20th century Rio Grande pueblo ladder. The wooden ladder was purchased by the previous owner in Toas New Mexico in the 1990's. It's construction is unique with the post going through the rails and is constructed from found materials that served some previous function. There are measured but rough saw marks along one side of each of the rails.
