This is an early 20th century Navajo pictorial textile woven entirely in a native hand spun wool in natural ivory, dark brown, hand carded grey and a variety of hand dyed aniline red, green, and orange. The textile has a grey field with alternating deity's from border to border. In white are Talking Gods with feather fans atop the mask and holding long drops in each hand. In black are Humpback deities with hook horns and elaborate dance wands in hand. The textile is from the Russ Lyon Realty Corporate collection and is published in a catalog titled "Russ Lyon Realty, Corporate Collection of Navajo Pictorial Weavings," page 9, plate 6.
