This is an early 20th century Navajo pictorial textile woven entirely in native hand spun wool in natural ivory, dark brown, hand carded grey, and a variety of hand dyed aniline colors including red, yellow, green, orange, and brown. The design features a single figure Yei dancer in three quarter profile with detailed regalia, mask, and in the hands spruce and a rattle all on a grey field.
