This is a late 19th century Navajo wedge weave blanket woven entirely in native hand spun wool in natural ivory, dark brown, and hand dyed aniline red, and yellow. The design is typical of the wedge weave technique with repeating bands of vertical zigzags in alternating colors, and is bordered at top and bottom by two simple horizontal bands in red and dark brown. The textile is in very good condition with no significant restoration or repair.
