A late 19th to early 20th century Lakota beaded bag. The bag is made of native tanned deer hide over a commercial leather doctors bag with metal mechanisms and is decorated with beadwork designs across the entire surface. The beaded design differs on each side, with both featuring various geometric shapes in red, dark blue, yellow, green, and white, all on a sky blue background. The bag is finished with a natural hide beaded handle at top.
