This is a pair of contemporary silver earrings with inlay by Aleut duo Denise and Samuel Wallace. The rectangular earrings have a slightly different shape, one being thinner than the other, and each feature a scrimshaw ivory face. The wider of the two is further decorated by a horizontal band of circular impressions and a band of darker colored fossilized ivory at top. The artist's hallmark is clearly visible on the reverse.
