This is a mid 20th century silver belt buckle with carved turquoise by Zuni silversmith Dan Simplicio and Zuni master carver Leekya Deyuse. The silver belt buckle, done by Simplicio, is rectangular in shape and is adorned with winding snakes made from silver wire. The buckle features a carved turquoise snake, done by Deyuse, set in a sawtooth silver bezel at center.
