The necklace features a large shield form silver pendant with chiseled lines across bottom and a large ovoid shaped cabochon of turquoise set in a flat silver bezel at center. The turquoise cabochon is set in what is known as a shadowbox technique with a carved scallop edge along the outside. The artist's signature is clearly visible on the reverse.
