This is a late 19th to early 20th century Navajo silver first phase concho belt on a vintage leather strap. The belt features oval shaped conchos with high domed forms and diamond cut centers. The center cutout is decorated with repeating triangle stamps along the edge. The exterior of the concho is scalloped and decorated with chased rope work heavy short lines and punched holes. The square shaped buckle is highly decorated with repeating chiseled lines along the sides and scallop stamps across top and bottom, with chased rope design between.
