A contemporary pair of tufa cast 14k gold earrings by Hopi jeweler Roy Talahaftewa. Each earrings is comprised of a gold plaque featuring a semicircle shaped cabochon of natural turquoise set in a square tooth bezel and a stepped gold motif extending from the top and an elongated gold stepped triangle with traditional Hopi overlay motifs hanging from the underneath. The gold is all textured from the casting mold used to form the earrings and the artist's hallmark is clearly visible on the reverse.
