This is a late 19th to early 20th century Navajo silver squash blossom necklace with ten silver squash blossom pendants and a large crescent form naja set with three turquoise cabochons. The pendants are evenly spaced along a single strand of spherical silver beads on either side of the large naja at center. The necklace was originally collected in the late 1880's by an infantry soldier stationed in Ft. Union, New Mexico.
