This is a modern beaded necklace by Arapaho/Seneca artist Ken Williams Jr. created using red Mediterranean coral, lapis beads, new and vintage glass beads, and 18k gold beads. The necklace is comprised of ten twisted strands of coral beds with gold beads placed sporadically throughout, with a humanoid form pendant at center. The pendant is rectangular in shape and is decorated by bands of glass beads in alternating bright colors with small strands of coral beads and coral pretzels hanging from the bottom and from either side. The figure features a pre-columbian pottery face from the collection of Charles Loloma, wearing a hood made from gold beads and a necklace of lapis lazuli beads.
