A late 19th century Navajo Transitional Period textile woven entirely in hand spun wool in natural ivory, dark brown and aniline dyed copper, red, green, purple and yellow. The design features a large halved stepped diamond in bands of ivory, dark brown and green along each side and a smaller halved diamond in bands of ivory, red and purple at top and bottom, all with various bow and arrow motifs on the interior. The field is further decorated with two sideways "A" symbols at center and is bordered by a group of three thin bands in ivory, green and purple across top and bottom, all on a copper background.
