An early 20th century Navajo pictorial rug woven entirely in hand spun wool in natural ivory, gray, dark brown, vegetal dyed beige and aniline dyed red. The design features four Horned Road figures in alternating colors across center and a single arrow in the middle, all on a heavily variegated gray background. The central design is bordered by an elaborate band of red diamonds with dark brown cross motifs extending from either side. The rug is further bordered by a solid band of dark brown along the outer edge.
