This is a contemporary beaded bag titled "The Beauty of Past and Present (Shoshone #6)" by Arapaho/Seneca artist Ken Williams Jr. made from new and vintage glass beads and brain tanned buckskin. The beaded design features a portrait of a Shoshone Family from Ft. Hall at center with a background of vertical stripes in alternating colors and a border of light and dark blue. The bag is further adorned with two buckskin tassels hanging from either side and is finished with a two strand beaded handle.
