This is a traditionally made and fired Hopi polychrome seed jar attributed to Nampyeo. The surface coloration indicates the jar was coal fired. The mid body is decorated in Sikyatki revival design of abstracted avian motifs. The jar is in original condition with no apparent restoration or repair.
