This is an early 20th century Navajo Ganado twill double saddle blanket woven entirely in natural ivory, over-dyed dark brown, and hand dyed aniline red. The design features two stacked stepped diamonds at center with a stepped halved diamond on either side and a cross motif in each corner, all on a red background. The design field is bordered by a solid band of dark brown.
