A late 19th to early 20th century Navajo rug from the Ganado region woven entirely in hand spun wool in natural ivory, gray, dark brown and aniline dyed red. The design features three cross motifs in red, ivory and dark brown stacked at the center of a heavily variegated gray field. The central field is bordered by a solid band of dark brown and a solid band of read along the outer edge.
